4H Fair Calendars

The East Middleboro 4H Club will hold its annual 4H Fair this weekend on Route 105 in Middleboro. This fair is held to raise money for the East Middleboro 4H Club. This is a small town country fair at its best! Kids can see cows, sheep, rabbits, chickens and goats, while eating fried dough or freshly popped popcorn. Various crafts including quilts are on display. A cribbage tournament will be held as well as an auction. This is wonderful family fun!

This year the 4H Club will be selling a calendar featuring twelve of my favorite images. The calendar costs $10 and can be purchased on Saturday or Sunday from 8AM-6:30PM. All proceeds from the sales of this calendar will benefit the East Middleboro 4H Club. The image for this post was a 3 hour night exposure. Star trails and jet trails can be seen over the club house. I had envisioned this photograph for many years. What I had not counted on was the numerous jets flying over the clubhouse on their way to land at Logan Airport. Fortunately, I really like how the flight patterns of the jets fit into this composition!
